Research

Nepal Zoological Society encourages all enthusiast Zoologists to conduct research on different fields including species exploration to environmental welfare. Zoologists can use NeZoS as a working platform, and can apply research grants for governmental and non-governmental organizations at both National and International institutions. However, the researcher must follow the code of conduct, rules and regulations of the Society.

NeZoS has formulated a Research Division to regulate the research activities. The main task of this Division is to formulate and update the research policies and guidelines. The primary guidelines are:

1.  All the members of the Society are eligible to apply for research grants in the related field through the NeZoS.

2.  It provides collaborative platform for non-member researchers to submit the proposal for research grants following the rules and regulations of NeZoS.

3.  The concept/proposal must be submitted to the Research Division to obtain the approval letter. The budget of the proposal should clear about the institutional overhead, wherever applicable.

4.  The Principal Investigator (PI) will be the main contact person and should report the research progress timely.

5.  NeZoS can directly apply for institutional research grants.

6.  The researchers must follow the code of conduct, ethics, and rules & regulations of NeZoS.
