Goals

The society has following goals to:

1. Conduct research on various dimensions and discipline of zoology.
2. Survey the faunal wealth of the country and prepare faunal inventory.
3. Apply recent tools and techniques (e.g. GIS and Remote sensing, radio-telemetry, camera trapping as well as molecular genomics) for faunal research.
4. Conduct research on public and animal health associated microorganisms and diseases.
5. Aware public and policymakers about fauna, environment and human society.
